After breakfast at 09:00, begin your guided visit to the great Pyramids of Giza, one of the renowned Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Marvel at the grandeur of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus—masterpieces built from over two million limestone blocks, each weighing several tons. Standing before these colossal monuments, it is impossible not to feel the awe and admiration that has inspired countless generations. The Great Pyramid of Cheops is especially fascinating, as its inner burial chambers are accessible to visitors. 

A short distance away stands the iconic Great Sphinx of Giza, dating back to the reign of Chephren. Carved from natural limestone, this remarkable statue—65 feet high and 187 feet long—blends the body of a lion with the face of a pharaoh, symbolizing strength and wisdom. Afterward, a brief visit to a papyrus institute or perfume shop can be arranged.

In the afternoon, continue your exploration of ancient Egypt with a visit to Memphis, the country’s earliest capital, established by King Menes. Here you will see the impressive colossal statue of Ramses II, one of the most elegant depictions of the great pharaoh.

Next, proceed to Sakkara, home to the oldest known complete stone structure in history—the Step Pyramid. Wander through this remarkable archaeological site with your expert Egyptologist, uncovering the mysteries and stories of Egypt’s early dynasties.

Spend the evening at leisure, with the option to attend the enchanting Sound & Light Show at the pyramids, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile, or dine at the elegant Sequoia restaurant overlooking the river.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then at 09:00 begin your day with a guided visit to the renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities.

Established in 1835, the museum houses one of the world’s most impressive collections of ancient treasures. Its current building—designed in 1900 by French architect Marcel Dourgnon—features more than 120,000 artifacts spanning the prehistoric era through the Greco-Roman period. Across 107 halls, the ground floor showcases monumental statues and large-scale masterpieces, while the upper floor displays intricate pieces such as small sculptures, fine jewelry, and the celebrated treasures of Tutankhamen. The museum also includes a photography section and a rich research library.

In the afternoon, continue to the Citadel of Salah El Din, the medieval fortress that once protected the city. Here you will visit the Mosque of Mohammed Ali—often called the Alabaster Mosque due to its stunning use of fine Beni Suef alabaster. This iconic landmark is also the resting place of Mohammed Ali and offers sweeping views of Cairo.

Afterward, take a short drive to the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, famous for its winding alleyways and vibrant atmosphere. Explore traditional cafes where locals and visitors gather for shisha and classic Egyptian drinks—one of which was a favorite spot of Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz. Browse shops filled with handmade crafts, copperware, jewelry, rugs, blown glass, wooden inlay boxes, semi-precious stones, and countless souvenirs.

The evening is free at leisure, with optional experiences available: the captivating Sound & Light Show at the pyramids, a dinner cruise along the Nile, or a stylish dining experience at Sequoia restaurant overlooking the river.
